Gilbert Anderson, Northern Alberta Métis Fiddler

During the 1940s Enoch fiddlers had few opportunities to meet fiddlers from other places or to hear them on recordings and radio. Gilbert recalls that they always enjoyed hearing fiddlers who happened to be passing through Northern Alberta, especially if they were Métis from the Red River Valley area in Manitoba.
